Now that FOWD London is over i will be moving swiftly on preparing for FOWD New York! No rest for the wicked as they say

I will be in New York searching for fab new venues in May and would love to catch up with as many of you guys as possible while i’m there. It’s thirsty work so i will be stopping for a beer or 3 at Slate PLUS lounge from 7pm on Tuesday 6th May.

FOWD London 08 is now over, thanks for being a part of it!

We are really excited about FOWD this year and i have received so many great comments in the run up to this event that it looks like were not the only ones!

FOWD will be hitting London in style with not one, not two but three parties!

Official FOWD Welcome party - 16th April

We begin with the Official FOWD Welcome party the night before the conference. Hosted by our Official FOWD party sponsors - Media Temple, this will be the biggest party at FOWD, and a great chance to get to know other attendees and make some new friends before the conference.

Jewel has 4 separate themed bars for us all to hang out in, each one more gorgeous than the next!

Definitely one for your diaries as there will be some free drinks to get you started as you mingle with other attendees, the speakers and of course the Carsonified team!

To give you guys time to recuperate after two days of partying we are going to start slow with a few games of pool at the Elbow Rooms before we go on to Westbourne House.

Those of you who attended last years FOWD in New York will remember the amazing after party sponsored by Media Temple. I know there were definately a few who were feeling the effects the next day!

As well as fantastic speakers such as Jon Hicks, Andy Budd and Jina Bolton, we are so pleased to announce that Miguel Ripoll will also be joining us at FOWD London to teach a workshop - Elastic Thinking: adaptable design in a world of uncertainty.

Miguel Ripoll is the CEO and Creative Director of Cesser Digital, a Spanish web developing firm with a team of over 350 and 9 offices across the country.

His work is often featured in leading publications such as Communication Arts, Computer Arts, Internet Magazine, PC World, .Net Magazine, etc, and has been exhibited in museums in Madrid, Seville, Berlin, New York, Aleppo, Hannover, and other cities both in Spain and abroad. He has also designed the cover for this year’s edition of the book The Web Design Index.

The event will be taking place at the Kensington Town Hall on 17th April followed by a choice of 8 workshops on 18th.
